You guys are making more a of a fuss over the small stuff than David Stern is.</div>GRRRRRR. I understand that... but what the F*ck does the height of a wristband have to do with ANYTHING? Does it affect the game? No. Does it affect what people think of the players or the NBA image? No, what does some kid's dad walk by the TV and say "I'm disgusted! Lamar Odom has a wristband on his elbow! I'm calling the league office!!!!" Hell no, people won't even notice 9/10 times even if it were bad.I mean, dress code - I don't like it, but I definitely understand it. But what's the difference if you wear a band on your elbow or a couple inches lower on your forearm? What is the point of even thinking about making a rule about that? Same thing with banning spendex. LMAO that's underneath everything even.I understand they want a consistant dress code or whatever, but this? Why? It makes zero sense why it's a rule you can't have a band on your elbow (or higher), and it never will. That's a power hungry oompa-loompa right there in David Stern.

Again, I have to agree with Celticballa. But it seems like no matter how often we try to explain this to BrewCityBuck, he won't get it.

Jesus, it's not a big deal. I've seen NFL players fined for having a towel a half an inch off. It's the rules, he knows the rules, he violated the rules. Oh and here's a hot tip fellas...Stern probably had nothing to do with the fine. There are people who are hired to do this. Stern isn't sitting watching the game and noting what happens uniform-wise, there are more important things to do. If the players had any problem whatsoever with the rules, they just agreed to a CBA a year ago...shoulda said something then.I hate Stern as much as anyone else, but this is something you can't put on him. Only reason it's news is because it's Jermaine O'Neal (who has voiced against the league in recent history).

I understand they should abide by the rules, and I agree. BUT, what the hell was the point to make a restriction like this anyway? Wristbands can't be on the elbow anymore? WHY? WHY? WHY? What is David Stern's motive for even making a rule like this? It has zero affect on the game whatsoever. I don't get it. Stern is power hungry, and he can and will do any little stupid thing he thinks of. It's friggen stupid.</div>you didn't know? having your wristband on your elbow is WAY too gangster, it's hurting the image of the league.[IMG]

I don't understand why stern is so caught up in things like this, but since it's the real he still has to enforce it so we can't blame him for that. We can be mad about the stupidity of the rule but we shoulden't be mad that he is enforcing the rule because if he doesen't enforce one rule then the players might think they can get away with more things.
