you misunderstood me...I said in talent. Bryant is more talented than Johnson IMO.And Shaq doesn't have nearly as many moves as a J Oneal, Duncan or Gasol has...alotve his stuff comes on by strength.

Does he pass better? of course notDoes he shoot better? No, Magic 52% FG for his careerDoes he rebound better? No over 2 rpg differenceDoes he make his team better? heck no!more athletic sure, no doubt.Kobe is a great scorer, like nique, adrian dantley, Michael Redd.but my point is dude hasn't even won 1 MVPBird won 3 in a row over Dr. J, Moses Malone, Kareem (well older Kareem), Magic, young MJHe LED his team to 3 titles.Shaq LED the lakers to 3.Magic LED the Lakers to 5.Magic has won 3 MVP'sShaq has won 1 MVPKobe ZERO MVP's and he's led his team to 1st round defeats in the playoffs.Kobe is a top talent right now, but not all time.and again, no Nique is not an all time great. It's an injustice he wasn't on the all time 50 greatest players, but if he had been there and you rated the 50 greatest of all time, he's in the last 10 players.

Magic was a 20PPG scorer whose points were balooned quite a bit due to the era and team he played for (who scored 125PPG one season). Kobe is better shooter from all ranges, more versatile, and overall just a FAR better scorer....not even close. Kobe right now is one of the 3 greatest scorers of all time.Magic was also a better passer and rebounder (remember Magic was a good 3-4 inches taller than either MJ or Kobe) than Jordan...that doesn't mean too much. Like MJ, Kobe is the better defender, more clutch, far better scorer, and overall more talented.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>but my point is dude hasn't even won 1 MVP</div>Doesn't mean anything. Kobe is only 28 years old now. You can't blame him for having Shaq on his team for the first 8 years of his career, which is a HUGE reason why the best player in the league right now doesn't have an MVP. Despite Shaq being best player on those teams, Kobe still did more overall for that team than Shaq....perimeter scoring, he was the playmaker for the 3 peat, lockdown defender, had to take over in clutch as Shaq was a liability, etc...

Magic could play all 5 positions well and he's probably the most complete player EVER. Kobe also is not on the level of Bird, please stop.Austin, I also remember when you told me Shaq has never had a back to the basket game. Please stop this.</div>I'd say you can argue Kobe is a better player then Larry bird but no in no way is he better then Magic. Larry was a great player with a great desire who could shoot, pass, and rebound but Kobe has proven he can do just the same and has while being much more explosive(IMO Kobe is also a much better defender then Bird ever was)

He is a more dominant clutch player than Magic was.Larry is a different story, though.
