I agree. It does seem that too often nowadays interviewers interrupt guests intentionally, which tends to annoy or infuriate guests, which makes the guests then look like idiots, and makes the interviewer seem better for it, which is super annoying, IMO. Damn straying laser.

Demanding answers to questions posed not specifying strictly that is pointless and stupid. a 15 year 100% guarantee has nothing to do with the initial comments made or responded to. But you always do like shifting it slightly, and demanding an answer to what was not previously implied. Carry on. I don't think that David Stern rigs the league.

Rome has been around nationally so much longer then Skip Bayless, i'm not sure how you can even compare the two. Love him or hate him, JR has a HUGE following and is one of the best interviewers you'll ever find in or out of sports. i'm not a big fan of his schtik but for pure interview purposes he's one of the best.
I hate Skip Bayless too. Bad comparison but I dislike both guys so it was the first one off the top of my head.
