Saw they had to take Jimmy Butler off in a wheel chair. If he is down for a significant amount of time I would think Hederson would be a perfect fit.

Henderson and a future second for Chicago first, lottery protected?

Might work it into a bigger deal

Henderson,Leonard and Kaman for Gasol, Noah and their first.

Chicago gets out of some salary and gets a big that can play 4 or 5 plus a wing to replace Butler short term and play beside for the playoffs. Kaman gives them depth which they need right now.

Portland gets a guy who can create offensively on the block and help push them in the playoffs. Plus a late first

Yeah, that's not going to happen. I can see a Blake Griffin for Gasol Swap (with Chicago throwing in more of course)

That Injury looked nasty. The way he fell if all he has is a bone bruise or a sprain then he is damn lucky. He gets major props for finishing the FT's before being wheeled out.

Fell on his right knee, it was his left that was injured in the air. He is fine. Couple of weeks. No trades happening.

If anything, this is reason for the Bulls to toss in the towel and give up one of Noah, Gasol, or Gibson to get under the LT.

I agree with Denny. If Butler is going to be out for an extended period of time, now would be the time to get under the LT and start planning for next year.

It's already questionable if they can take Cleveland in a7 game series. Without butler? Henderson isn't going to fill in and help. If he's out, time to pack it in.

Butler did get up and shoot his FTs before being taken off.

    I suspect it's a bad sprain. FWIW

How far over the lt line are they? Would say, Noah and 1st for future 2nd and Henderson get them there?

Cause we could easily absorb deals if they wanna save money if they kick us an asset back

I just watched the video of the injury. I guess it's going to be something minor. I really only have one thing to say though:

That's what you get for flopping...

The Bulls would rather pay the LT than give up the draft pick. They did it before when they could have dealt Rip and a pick to get under the one time they paid the LT.

Even if nothing happened to Butler, they're not good enough to beat Cle especially in a 7 game series (I hate saying anything remotely positive when it comes to Cle; NOT a fan of that team/personnel ).

On that play he embellished contact. The marginal amount of contact he received from the bump did not create the situation that caused his injury.

Sorry, don't believe that. I tore my ACL once, knee injuries r weird (sometimes bone breaks r that way too; however, the 1 exception r green stick fractures, these r ALWAYS nasty!:smiley-yell:); they either look crazy bad or don't look like much @ all (mine didn't "look" like much BUT the sound it made... every1 heard it & wondered what that noise was/where it came from).

ps I JUST watched the play again, definitely not a flop. I invite any1 to watch it again.

I've watched it over 10x. The injury is real no doubt. But the marginal amount of contact he received didn't cause it. The embellishment did.

Looks like a lot of body contact to me.
