Noah is basically a Mark Madsen type. A hustle player who doesn't do anything well. Madsen was glorified due to being a backup on a championship team...of course, he was a backup at arguably the Lakers' weakest position of that era. Honestly, I'd rather see what Diogu can do given steady minutes. Diogu has been productive when given minutes, in the past.
I'm not ready to give up on Noah. He had a very solid rookie year. I'm not sure what all has contributed to his fall apart this year, but the Bulls have a lot more to gain by hoping he turns it around than by trading him for dogshit. Tyrus, on the other hand, has pretty much worn out his welcome, at least with me.
I would be very excited at the prospect of acquiring Noah for spare parts like Frye and Diogu. When given time, Noah has produced well in rebounds, blocks, and even assists. I think he would be a great energy guy to have off the bench and not have to worry about him taking shots away from our second unit.
Noah is a bust, plus he doesn't have basketball first as his priorities, and has a bad attitude. Stay away from him.
I like how the first reason that "he could be useful" is that he's skinny! I think that tells you all you need to know right there.
oops....didn't see the "but" after the skinny part. Thank god thats not a reason why we should get him! I think he could turn out to be a decent role player, but I don't see him having a place on this team.
I'm trying to think of a player I'd be less interested in ... Stephon Marbury maybe, but it's probably more like a dead heat.
I would much rather watch Stephon play, I don't want him on the team but it would at least be entertaining. And he has talent too.
Noah was considered to be the consummate teammate at Florida. The Chicago Bulls are one of the most dysfunctional clubhouses in all the NBA. Logic would lead me to believe that he really isn't the problem there.
