    Heard that Matheny got axed when watching "Quick Pitch" this am. Even at that early hour Heyman was putting out the scuttlebutt on Girardi becoming the next manager. St Louis is a class organization and Girardi will do well.

    It will be a good spot for him. Timing just not there with a Cubs and the Mets would've been a no win situation.

    I wonder how many Yankee Players wished Girardi was still there. The two top Cashman Shitties were letting Deki walk after the '09 Series and not letting Giradi be the one to transisition with the current Team. If Girardi is offered and accepts the position I wish him the very best.
