Actually, the close relationship story seems to have been debunked. However, Keating does have relatives named Wurzelbacher, and how many unrelated Wurzelbacher families could there really be in the US? barfo
I know more about Michael Jordan than I do about John McCain. I know more about pretty much every Blazer (except Shavlik Randolph) than I do about Sarah Palin. Clearly, this should disturb you about McCain and Palin.
I do, and I can tell that you don't. You're just like Biden and Obama! Except, of course, for the $22.5k that Obama gave Rev. Wright's church in 2006
A weak argument, especially coming from someone as smart as you. Palin I agree with. I don't know much about her other than she is evil according to the media, but she's not running for President.
So new narrative: Obama not a snob, cares about his common man? Let me guess...not where you were going with that.
I fight weak with weak. There are no strong arguments when dealing with "It's disturbing that I purposely know nothing about Obama!" So may as well keep it light.
6% of his income to "charity" isn't exactly noteworthy. Consider the racist church and the Congressional Black Caucus, and you are down to 3%. Or is that a lot to you?
That law school newsletter might have had more people working on it than Palin managed in Wasilla. Or Alaska for that matter.
I'm sure its more valuable than running one of the 50 states. If you honestly believe that, I don't know what to tell you. This is all old shit though, we can just leave it at that if you wish.
What does your second sentence mean? How does that reduce the percentage? It's more compelling than the evidence that Obama is a snob.
I don't. You and PapaG are having a little fun because you're bored, and I'm having a little fun, too. None of us really believe that the election race is even, that Obama just lost Ohio and Pennsylvania or that Obama is a socialist. But it's fun to pretend!
Well, he's as much as socialist as all politicians have been in the US for the past 100 years or so. He's a mix of capitalism and socialism. Both the Republican and Democrat parties are branches of a Capitalist party, they just bicker over details. The US doesn't have a viable socialist party (which many democracies do). Obama is obviously more socialist than conservatives...but they're all on a spectrum and quite far away from communism.
