For the first time, I agree on something with David Stern. I dont understand how someone could be so obvious with their "vendetta" against someone.

I don't think he'll return next season either and good move by Stern. I didn't think he had it in him to suspend him the entire season but I guess he did.

Good move by David Stern. And Stern will probably fire him as a ref after what he did to Tim Duncan. He's a horrible ref anyways.

All I've been hearing from these so-called experts was it's "too severe of a penalty" What if this guy pulled this crap in the playoffs or Finals for that matter? Crawford stepped over the line big time.

Stern will rehire him if he wants to come back....Although he calls some unnecessary technicals, outside of that, he is one of the best refs in the leauge. Stern will want him back....He isnt going to find better. Although I dont know if he is going to want to come back considering nobody thinks he had the right to do this, and nobody supported him....except some of the other officials.

No, I meant I don't think he would want to come back.

from http://basketball.officiating.com/x/article/1520: Officiating.com: How did you get started in officiating? Crawford: This is my 24th year in the pros. I started [calling basketball] when I was 18. My dad was a Major League Baseball umpire. I knew when I was thirteen- years-old that I wanted to be an NBA referee. When I was a kid, my dad would take me to NBA games, and he would point out Mendy Rudolph [successful NBA official]. When I went to these games, I spent the whole game watching the referees. -------kind of pathetic that a guy goes to an nba game to watch the refs. Obviously, joey still thinks that everyone else just loves to watch only the refs too or something. the guy should no doubt be fired. sooo unprofessionaltoo many old, biased refs with grudges against teams. Ruining the fun of the game
