<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>WOW! Check out all those pics of Harrington. Playing for the Lions must really SUCK!!!</div>
We'll never know what it's like to play for the Lions ... but the DWO is finding out what it's like to have the "Princess" as their QB!

    LMAO! [IMG]

Our teams both suck Dale, but at least Lions fans have a QB we can be proud of on and off the field.

    Yeah, Zack. Do Tell.

I am also interested in your spin I mean take on the injuries to Woody (insert Viagra joke here), Roy W, & Dan Cody?

With Roy's math skills, there is no knowing exactly how long he'll be out. ROFL.

Par for the course. :reallysick: Kitna was looking pretty good coming in 3rd in the NFL in passing yards and up 17-3 in the 4th quarter ... then the roof caved in. :crying:

Miami finished strong last year with Gus Ferrotte ... I'm not counting out the Lions yet.

Joey didn't look all that bad despite the INTs. Truthfully the Pats were fortunate to come away with the W yesterday.

The Dolphins have historically always taken the Pats to the limit when ever they played regardless of records, remember that Monday Night game a few years back when A.J. Feely ended up leading them to a win?

I suppose I should root for the Phins just to keep our distance. It really doesn't matter to me who wins, but if I had to bet on it I would pick Miami.

I don't know why the phins/jets game wasn't scheduled for 2 weeks later than it is.

The Meadowlands have been the phins personal house of horrors for years minus the world famous clock play...of course.

Congrats to Joey - he had an awesome game - its always fun to see someone have success when they have gone through as much crap as he has gone through...

He did have a solid game and I'm sure it'll always be the biggest game of his career. He's still a journeyman at best.

Joey's team, picked for the Super Bowl by many, is 4-3 in games that he has started.

So now the Joey lovers judge him by wins and losses but when he played for a crappy
team, they didn't judge him in that way. Too funny.

Gus Frerotte put up similar numbers for the Dolphins last year, as the team won 6 straight games (go ahead and look it up). And then they dumped Frerotte in the off-season. Joey still has the worst stats in the NFL for passes that travel more than 10 yards downfield. He's pretty good at the short passing game. That's it. He's not as good as the K.C. backup in my view.

One could look at it that way.

However, if someone actually took a moment to consider the facts they would realize

    1) Harrington didnt get the training camp reps and pep did.
    2) Harrington's rating has gone up every single game this season.
    3) Miami proved with pep in that o-line wasnt even decent and was just bad.
    4) Joey isnt taking the sacks pep did cuz he is getting rid of the ball
    5) No one is going to have great deep success on a team with a bad o-line and feature back that avgs 3.8 ypg

So, as harrington has become more confident and learned in the offense in miami he has gotten better and better, He solved miamis major issue with his quick release and poise under pressure. His QB rating is 80 over last 4 games, with most of his picks coming in first 3 games when he was thrown into fire.

Finally, he proved he can win in this league where other QBs who have gone to multilple pro bowls have failed. He can win and have success where another QB who threw 39td passses couldnt. He won in detroit on thanksgiving, and didnt look like a doe caught in headlights, but like the #3 overall choice in draft and heisman trophy candidate he was before being ruined by playing for worst franchise in NFL since 2000.

I am sure there are a lot of bitter angry detroit fans, who probably made fun of him calling him things like "doey" and "princess" who are so filled with rage and anger of having it stuck to them, that they are on verge of crying. They probably will go onto message boards and denounce what he has accomplished and claim he is little more than a journeyman, and find some crazt justification like this team supposedly being a super bowl contender according to preseason picks, or comnparing the 6 game win streak ferrote was the captain of when they were able to run it down everyones throat witih ricky and ronnie. Thank God there are no fans like that on this site.

It doesn't burn a bit. Hell Damon Huard's 5-1 with a 97.6 passer rating. What does that mean? The "Princess" has a good game now and then if he gets enough starts. The truth is, any team that starts him is desperate.

He's way over paid for a journyman at best. I and most every GM in the NFL would take Kitna and McCown over Doey. That's a fact.
