I'd Take Kitna over him yes, but I dunno about Mcown, he hasn't show me much, Im not ready to give him Comeback Player of the year or anything but He is showing that he may have the abillity to be a solid NFL qb. I think it's pretty safe to assume that NO QB will eer succeed in detroit as long as Matt Millen is in charge.

Miami got nothing for Huard, while Detroit stole a 5th for Doey.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Zackman)</div><div class='quotemain'>while Detroit stole a 5th for Doey.</div> Stole? Only if Joey was an undrafted D3 QB who broke all Marino's records in his rookie season. Maybe with the #3 pick in the next draft, Millen can get it right. Nah! Not if Calvin Johnson is still on the board.

Considering they gave up a 1st (3rd overall pick) in order to steal that 5th round draft pick, it's stupid how close Matt Millen is to winning Executive of the Year. I like Huard. I wish "Teflon Dave" would have given him a legit chance to compete with Jay Fiedler. Still, no amount of sour grapes is going to ruin the Dolphins win over the Lions for me. The Dolphins walked onto Ford Field, led by Joey Harrington, and they kicked the Lions butts and that's the INDISPUTABLE Truth.

The Lions were going to cut the Princess and Saban gave up a 5th round pick and way over payed Doey. I guess that's a bargin in Miami after passing up Drew Brees and giving up a high pick for Cripplpepper! LMAO! The Dolphins won Thursday, but they still suck and are going nowhere.

I'm not trying to hate here. I thought the Dolphins and Lions worked well together to make a memorable Thanksgiving Day. The Lions brought the turkey (Millen) and the Dolphins served up the stuffing. Then went and signed vets to give nice balance on roster and lots of talent in Jones, Mushin, and Griese. Also, they went and drafted a slew of pro bowl defensive players on the #1 defnse in league. It is prolly a hard concept for you, in that the lions have never drafted a great player, but they take away the stings of the misses of the previous regimes. Bears front office is obviously on track with its picks right now.

The truth is, any team that starts him is desperate. He's way over paid for a journyman at best. I and most every GM in the NFL would take Kitna and McCown over Doey. That's a fact.</div> Teams will "take" Harrington as a capable backup, not because they expect to make him the face of their franchise. Again, Huard benefitted last year from a two-headed running attack. Call Joey whatever name you like, that guy came in as the default backup quarterback and outplayed the "starting" Jon Kitna on Thursday despite your predictions that he would flop.

FYI - when my team lost to dolphins, i didnt denounce them and thier season, i congratulated them on a good win and wished them luck. btw, losing 1 game in 10 is not quite as devastating as you would like it to be.
