<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">According to El Nuevo Dia, Peter John Ramos, the Wizards' 2nd round pick in this year's draft, has inked a four deal totaling $3.1 million. Ramos, taken 33rd overall, will get two years guaranteed at $1.6 million. The $1.6 million over two years equates to a similar starting salary as a player taken at the end of the 1st round. The second two years are non-gauranteed team options totaling approximately $1.5 million. Anybody got any pics of this cat? I've only seen like 1 on nbadraft.net site and would like to see him because I heard he is huge.
yyiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! starter in 2 years tops! http://www.nba.com/wizards/
This kid will be great him and Kwame are going to be awesome in the future receiving the ball from Arenas..
Ramos plays for the Puerto Rican National team right? Won't we get to see him play this Saturday against Team USA? I'd like to see how he does.
Another board is talking about him playing tomorrow. So it looks like we'll get our first look at him, I'm not going to be too critical of him considering he's playing against some amazing players & he's only 19, obviously he's going to need alot of work. This is some great experience for him though.
Ramos is playing in the under 21 competition thats going on right now. He had 23 pts on 9 of 16 shooting, & 11 rebs in 31 mins. Not pro talent but good college players he was up against. Against Brazil he had 11 pts, 9 rebs, & 3 blocks, against Venezuela he had 24 pts, & 6 rebs. They play again tonight. That sucks we didnt get to see him play today.
i personally play with peter john ramos because i was under 19 chilean team in a friendly match i can say he is a real star and he can be a good adittion for nba in a weak position like center
Ramos scored 34 pts on 12-23 shooting & grabbed 9 rebs in 37 mins in a loss against Team USA in the under 21 league yesterday. He was 10-10 from the FTline but he had 5 TO's. At least we know he can play against the college kids his age.
damn..this kid has a lot of promise..imagine 3 years down the line if he develops and Kwame blossoms a lineup liek this: Arenas Hughes Jamison Kwame Peter That could be championship caliber..

Just want to share something I've noticed, on the www.washingtonwizards.com homepage, the starting 5 in the banner are areans, hughes, twan, kwame, and etan...could brendan be on the block? I truly believe the future of our C position is in this 7'3" rican sensation.
I dont think that Haywood is on the block quite yet and I still dont think that etan will start the season as the starter, he isnt effective when he is a starter..
Believe or not he lived a few blocks away from my house, in sunset park brooklyn he came down to the park to ball a few times, very few times, he was cool. Huge man, u can see him dunk without jumping (rims in the park are slightly lower). wow man, he's huge.
