    He was an awesome NBA podcaster/writer who just died of cancer at age 34. It is incredibly sad.

    I didn't know Jon, nor have I really ever read his work. But damn... reading the Caringbridge posts from his wife through his cancer journey was a gut punch. Add to it a toddler and it's the most-unfair situation life can throw at someone. Just so sad...

    But it’s not fun. A guy a lot of people loved died. And Chris said “RIP” before you ever posted. You’ve yet to even offer your condolences now that you DO have all the info.
