Actually I liked when the Blazers traveled the state to play preseason games.

I think a game in Seattle and Bend would be great for fans.

The Seattle fans I know gave no shits about us hiring Calabro and still hate the Blazers to this day. They literally followed OKC more than Portland.

I think the Blazers should hire Michael Buffer.

not really, especially when it's tied to hating a geographical location...Kent sucks.....Calabro has been a national big game broadcaster for years.....doesn't matter if you don't like him...most people actually do like him...Wheels loves the guy and his recommendation is pretty well respected as well.

Not Seattle. I don't want anyone getting any thoughts unless there is another long term inescapable lease with Portland.

All over the state, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming... Sure. But not Seattle...

I know, but damn. The NBA didn't want to lose the franchise in Seattle in the first place. sometimes billionaire owners get their way over the NBA.

I don't want to risk it without locking the Blazers in here contractually for decades.

The Blazers just cut a deal with Root that expands coverage into the Seattle area. I think having a play-by-play guy who is familiar to former Sonics fans, instead of an unknown Oregon Duck football guy, probably makes a ton of marketing sense.

I know....it's hilarious to me the reasons are offering for why Calabro should have another crack at the job

I'll say again: the heavy Blazer institutional bias for all things Seattle is not a good thing

again... I do not believe, for one second, that casual fans will plan to watch Blazer games, when they wouldn't otherwise, because Calabro was the one jabbering the play-by-play.

Note that it’s the business side of operations that makes these decisions, not the basketball side. Expanding viewership is a hell of a good reason from a business standpoint.

Well, you’re welcome to your opinion. Obviously, the Blazers marketing people disagree.
