And what about the Blazers? Suns I doubt make it, jazz will surly compete for the 8th and the Pels could be top four in the west. Mavs, I pretty much agree that as it stands now, they will be looking at a 6-8 spot.
It sure would be nice to see the east and west a little more comparable. Last year having ten teams in the West with better records than the fifth in the east was laughable. (I could be wrong about exact numbers, don't feel like looking it up)
The mavs have a lot of questions. Will Parsons come back the same? Will Wes? CanDirk find a Duncan like resurgence next year? I think this team can surprise people
Suns actually have underratedly put together a nice team, look closely. Jazz are gonna be this years Pelicans. Super tough. Lots of talent. Depending on who we sign I think we can land anywhere from 5-8.
Or if we do a big trade for a good wing... I think our frontcourt is very good right now even without LA.
He has no incentive to sign more than a one year deal, as he will be eligible for a larger max the next offseason FYI. I don't think he's going to be leaving till 2017 if he does.
Perhaps Harris, but really who else is out there that could being that much to the table. Daniels? Perhaps.
Both interesting. JJ I Haven't heard much about this offseason. What's his situation? I would be thrilled to get derozen.
JJ is the largest expiring contract in the NBA not named Kobe I believe. I'd think the nets would like to trade him for anything at this point. DeRozan is on the trade block from what I've seen reported, but who knows?
High risk/high reward. One last roll of the dice on Dirk. It may blow up in their face - but at least they are trying to win. As a fan, you have to appreciate that.
Who is going to handle the ball in Dallas? Who can create? Devin Harris? They don't have Barea, they don't have Rondo... The Mavs did not improve their roster.
Wes arrives in Dallas...looking good, DJ in the paint, Dirk on the perimeter, Parsons on the wing....who's the point guard again?? oh fuck
