Dee Gordon also bats left handed. Jose Fernandez batted right handed... first pitch of the game Dee hit from the right side with Jose's helmet. Then Dee turned back over to the left side and the very next pitch hit that home run. He was crying around first base even. I had tears about the same time. What I loved the most is that the Miami announcers said nothing throughout the whole thing. Just let it go... made it even that much more powerful.
The more I hear about the guy, the more depressing it becomes. When you've got members of the media crying on national TV, you know the dude was genuinely a really good guy. So so so sad.
