Re: Vic Darchinyan (32-1-1) vs. Joseph Agbeko (26-1) [11-Jul-09] (Showtime)

Vic "Raging Bull" Darchinyan, the unified, undisputed super flyweight/junior bantamweight champion, moves up to challenge for Joseph Agbeko's IBF Bantamweight Title in July. Darchinyan, an Australian by way of Armenia, has only one career loss--a knockout at the hands of Nonito Donaire in 2007, current IBF/IBO Flyweight Champion. Agbeko, from Ghana, is undefeated stateside (3-0) following a long career in Africa and Europe. "King Kong" has a knockout rate over 80% and has fought opponents weighing 120-lbs., five to eight pounds heavier than anyone Darchinyan has faced. Agbeko is considered a top-ten bantamweight; the king of the division is Japanese pugilist Hozumi Hasegawa, who is on Darchinyan's radar should he make an example of Agbeko.
