You all think Howard is at his prime? This season Howard is turning 27, and when Dirk turned 27, he averaged. 26.1 PPG, so in terms of scoring, I think 19 or 20 PPG is the top of his PPG, but I'm sure he can still improve a lot. Next couple of seasons will be his prime.

No Josh isn't in his prime yet.You have to remember, Dirk was in the league for 6-7 years when he turned 27, and Dirk is only 28 now.Josh has only been in the league what, 4 years at most?Josh improves every year, just like Dirk does, so there's no reason to think he won't continue to develop and become a better player of the next 2-3 years at least.

I'm pretty sure in about 2-3 years Josh Howard will have somehwere around 26 PPG and 11RBG. He's a good player and can average those kinds of numbers in a few years. Can I say he's like a shawn marion. He can Rebounds and Block shots and they'll both 6'7.

Despite his more increased role, we have a lot of options and it would take some other players to take a backseat for Josh to average that many points. I can't see it happening. Rebounds as well, Dirk is a good rebounder for us and has yet to average 10 in a season. I don't see Josh averaging 11 in one.As for his prime, I think he's got another year of improvement. His shot has improved dramitically and he's made strides offensively. I can't see what else he can really improve on. I think he peaks next year.

I can't see hime averaging almost 30 I think more so about no less than 18 a game and probably 5 or 6 boards. You have to remember he still plays with Dirk and guys like Diop and Dampier.

And I believe by next season he can make that to somehwere 18-20 and very close to 10 rebounds. And I doubt his rebounds would go down, since each year they have been going up.

He is definately not at his prime yet but in about 2-3 years he will be in his prime. I think when he is 29 or 30 he is going to be an All Star forward who could average about 23 or 24 points a game. This guy can only get better.
