I actually think Smith would be a fine fit here...he's developed a midrange shot this season and is aggressive attacking the boards and blocking shots...plus he has a noble work ethic so he'll only get better...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting tinyballer:</div><div class="quote_post">Because of the simple fact they have someone else with maybe even more potential from a basketball stand point. Marvin Williams. Plus they have Childress at the two. And No matter what people say Josh Smith's natural position is never going to Power Forward. Hawks need a point guard or center badily and there are good point guards in this draft so they could take a center with their pick and a pg with ours.</div>

we need a back up PG as bad as they need one...

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TmacGarnett:</div><div class="quote_post">josh smith is overrated

He can jump and block Nothing more</div>

How is he overrated? If anything, he's underrated. He's athletic, very good shotblocker, a good rebounder, and his jumpshot has improved. To think Atlanta would even consider trading Smith for a #11 pick is laughable.

BTW, Locke, Smith a longer Keith Bogans?[IMG]
