Would want two first round picks from each club, then take filler back from LA, probably Morris, Covington and Batum if we were willing to take extra salary, otherwise substitute
    Coffey in there.

This would really depend on whether or not we extract anything more than a 1st from both teams, because the selection of young guys they’re willing to give up are kind of doodoo.

If both teams offered 1 unprotected 1st AND 1 unprotected swap, okay now I might be interested.

From Clips: ‘28 unprotected and ‘27 unprotected swap

    From 6ers: ‘30 unprotected, ‘29 unprotected swap

I would counter with "This makes no sense"
I tried numerous scenarios and the salary coming back to Portland is either not realistic or not attractive.
Someone give me one that makes sense.

Can we send Jrue's 35 somethig mil without us taking equal $$ back? I mean can we get a high upside young player on rookie scale plus 3FPs for example?

That’s overly optimistic. I think you could realistically think the 6ers would do an unprotected 1st + an unprotected pick swap + 1 second. Unless Embiid comes out saying “Holiday here or I leave”, I don’t think we could get Harden AND 2 1sts back.

Clips have said they are willing to part with 1 but not 2 1sts. If Clips were willing to give up a 1st and also the ‘24 TOR 2nd and their ‘29 2nd, I’d take that as well for Harden.

Hope to be wrong, just don’t think it’s realistic.

Clowney is #1 on my wishlist for young prospects

PWill is kinda meh but he still has upside

Clips get Harden. I think both clubs desperately need to do this and will pay up.

I feel like Jrue for Lowry(salary match, expiring), Jaquez or Jovic, and two unprotected future first round picks will work.

Miami will be one of the best defensive teams in history and prevents Jimmy Butler from requesting to be traded to the Heat.

Clowney and PHX 1sts in ‘27 and ‘29–that’s a haul I would want back.

Not sure if either club is willing to give up a good young player; I think this would be picks only.

I know Clips get Harden. The Clips have said they don’t want to give up more than 1 1st for him.

The salary can all be expiring if that's what Portland wants.

I doubt the Nets despise Simmons quite that much, but I could be wrong.

and this factor: is Ballmer the type of owner with a lot of money who makes bad decisions?

I'd like a pick or two, but I'd probably sacrifice a pick for a good young prospect. I don't think the Clipper have any

Ben Simmons just emphasized last week that he is a point guard.....and on offense he probably is. (Defensively he can guard pretty much anyone) So would they trade for Jrue without including Simmons? Seems like they need Dinwiddie more.

Man, it would be nice to have Nico back. Not the best player, but a good French-speaking role model for Rupert and Camara. Gives us a length we do not possess at the three.

I want nothing to do with RoCo. He absolutely tanked it when he came to us.
