Is he suppose to be Liverpool's Gerrard to Villarreal? Anywho why the fuck is he playing for this team? He could do so much better. Also, why is he rated so highly? Whats his achivements?
He's a superb passer of the ball, breaks up play very well, holds the ball up on counter-attacks to allow the quicker players forward and can hit a mean dead ball. He is a very good player but slightly over-rated by some people. I think he's stayed with Villareal because he's one of the ones who has helped them rise to where they are now and draw players like Diego Forland and Robert Pires over the last few years. Loyalty like that is rare, especially given he could have his pick of the clubs in Europe and South America if he wanted to.
