We'll find out...Big Ed was great...I'll miss him...out of my control, next man up as they say in sports.
My personal scouting report heh, on Swanigan was that he plays hard, but he’ll have to adjust to the speed of nba players he got heavy feet, not the quickest guy, but slow guys have adjusted before by just playing smarter, I think he can get there with experience.
Oh Also I think the “problem” I have with losing ED is that he did more then just on the court stuff, he was obviously good friends with Dame and CJ, never heard him complain, did the right things last summer to get his shoulder right and come back stronger. Not saying Swanigan can’t do that, but I think Ed’s hard work, no whining attitude will be missed.
If this is more coaching by Olshey, it's good coaching, means he wants Turner on the bench, not starting.
I think @hoopsjock has a reasonable assumption about Olshey not matching Brooklyn's offer for Davis and telling him to take it; that he thought he had a sign-and-trade deal for Cousins in hand, and figured he wouldn't be able to pay ED after getting hard-capped. I don't think letting ED go necessarily means that he wasn't valued; simply that he thought he had something else working that he valued more, and then it fell apart on him.
He certainly has a quickness problem, but last year he wasn't strong enough. That part is certainly fixable.
