I thought that show would be awesome. Then I watched it and realized it was a soap opera. I was so disappointed.

I got over it. But, it has some of my favorite actors in it and hearing about it I was excited that maybe just maybe there would be a modern mainstream show with black people in it that wasn't garbage.

There's such a void to fill here that mediocre crap like Black Panther gets nominated for best picture to try and make up for it.

 

Nobody watches the oscars anymore because of shit like that. Diversity for the sake of diversity. Black panther was hot dog shit.

 

If Black Panther wins best picture they should give every Denzel Washington movie ever made retroactive best picture awards. Every single one. Even the bad ones.

I like them a lot actually. I know the marvel shit is pretty mediocre but I have watched everything marvel since iron man including the Netflix shows. Only a couple have actually been really good. When everybody talked up black panther I was excited, watched it and it’s just bad. Overrated.

I watch almost every movie that comes out. I wanted that garbage to be good. Everyone said it was amazing.

It was shit. Pure shit. Unadulterated shit.

It was the pie Octavia Spencer served in The Help.

WE ain't keeping the Academy Awards. Just nominating that shit for best picture is Affirmative Action for Hollywood.

Any awards given from now on are tainted. Yep, if you're a black actor and win an award now you can't trust it.

Daniel Kaluuya was amazing in Widows but I don't think he even got nominated. That movie was just better than average and still 500 times better than Black Panther.

 

I disagree. I thought Black Panther was very good.

 

I don't like superhero movies - but I watched Black Panther because it got such great reviews. I have to say that it was just another superhero movie and frankly, got boring real fast.
