Our Elite Eight apperance last year was no fluke, we did it with a very young team. In fact, I'm so confident in the Tide, I predict an National Championship this season. BTW, Rod Grizzard doesn't derserve to be mentioned with greats like Sprewell and McDyess.</div>

I think you're a little over-confident in your team. In my opinion, there is no way they'd win the national title. There are far too many better teams out there than Alabama. Kansas is a lot better than Alabama, UNC is better, Cuse, Illinois, etc. Overall, if they're to win it, they'd have a very tough road there, and I don't think there is any way that they'd get the national title. There are too many teams out there better than them.

You have to aim high and I believe this is the best Alabama team ever. Jemario Davidson has improved greatly and he and Chuck Davis have been excellent so far.

They may have improved greatly, but they're still not a national contender. I understand aiming high, but you can't aim too high to the extent where you'll get shot down like there's no tomorrow. They may be pretty good, but again, they're no Kansas, Illinois, Cuse, etc. They need to prove they can beat good teams, and so far, they haven't done that. The only tough team (Washington) that they've played, they got beat by. So, in order for them to be considered contenders, they need to win against good teams and they need to beat the teams they're supposed to be able to beat by more than what they're doing.

Essentially, 'Bama and Syracuse the same teams as last year and we spanked the Orange in the Sweet 16. So I can accept that many teams are better than us now, but I believe we're better than Syracuse.

No way will Bama win a championship this year. They're are 20 teams that I can name that will win it over Bama, but you all do have a ncie team.

If we don't win it all, we'll at least win the SEC.

I agree with you there. I even picked you all to win the SEC before the season started, but if Kentucky and their young guys start to get going, you all better watch out; same for Florida...

I expected Mississippi State to falter, they seemed soft after their first two games. IMO, Kentucky is our biggest obstacle to an SEC Championship, Florida seems overrated to me, especially after what Miami did to them in Gainsville. I am looking foward to a good SEC season.
