I have ZERO respect for flopping. Period. When you flop, you're a goddamn liar and a SOFTY. Plain and simple.

I don't think Nurkic is a flopper. I think he takes a hit, then sells the contact. Sure he's overly dramatic, but I haven't seen him do it when there wasn't contact. BRoy learned to sell the contact by his girly yell every time he drove. Dame had to learn the sell the contact because he wasn't getting calls, ever. Until a player does that, the refs seem to swallow their whistles more often than not. Sadly, that's NBA basketball.

My man, Nurk absolutely IS a flopper. Some of his flops are downright egregious. Like the one on Millsap when he cocked his head back a full 2 seconds after he actually got contact. He's developing a rep.

I'm just happy that we finally have a go-to flopper. Since the league never cleans that shit up, it's a necessary weapon to have in your arsenal.

Sorry. Any embellishment of contact is soft. FUCKING SOFT.

And newsflash, that "AYYYE" bullshit that players do (as well as flipping their head back like idiots) doesn't garner them calls nor respect from the officials.

Nurkic yesterday was pretty annoying. But not only this game, it's all season. Very inefficiency stats for a lowpost center. Watching Centers like Embiid, Towns, Porzingis , Cousins, Davis, Miles Turner and also Jokic on offense you can see the big difference on the Talent in contrast to Nurkic. I have nothing Personal against Nurkic, he is a funny nice guy and Nurkfever was a nice time, but his style of playing is annoying and old school. Lowpost Centers without range are rare in today league. If Nurkic wouldn't have a good defense he wouldn't be a starter in any team in this league in my oppinion. But who knows, maybe he turns into a Marc Gasol Type player.

tend to agree and that is going to make his contract negotiations this summer very interesting. Question - would you rather have Vucevic or Nurk, not considering salaries, just who would make our team better?

Nurkic, no question. Like I said his defense is a big reason why the Blazers are top 3 this year in DeDrtng. Vucevic sucks on defense

Anyone else think that all the weight loss has affected his play?

The bulk helped him create space. It's not so easy this season it seems.

I don't think Nurk's problem is his weight. He was a turnover machine last year, and he still is. Even more maddening is the way he flicks the ball in the general direction of the hoop on a hope and a prayer it goes in. I still have hope he'll get better. But at this point it seems like the team functions better with Collins.

Stotts has Nurkic as the center of the passing wheel, a la Bill Walton. Nurkic is a very good passer for a center; Walton was a great one. Last season Nurkic made surprise passes on the fly; this season they're predictable interceptable set plays.
