I'm posting this video only to show his frame as it was back in May of 2016 when he played for Denver. This is an interview that he did for a Bosnian TV station; their "Interview 20" segment. I have no idea what they are saying, and there are no captions for the video. He looks REALLY skinny there.
Indeed, it was a Holy Night in Bosnia as she lay in a hospital bed surrounded by Wise Men from the Trail Blazers. And an Angel appeared: "Arise! Glory be to Nurk in the highest, for upon this night a Savior is born! His name is.....Jim Nurkic!"
I know. It would be cool if there were a sea of them in the MODA to show support. Except that, I'm opposed to anything that resembles a Lakers color being worn in my house (granted it's a different shade of yellow). That's all. I think an actual Bosnian Flag would be ok though.
Yellow is fine. Purple is fine. However, the two shall never touch. (Reep's house rules--just ask my daughters).
truth be told, I like when players are active on social media he should do whatever helps him (besides his game) to be more recognized in our fan base or all NBA related, like trash talk which he likes, or workouts like this, going on football games, making some videos which fans like, so Portland community would accept him as one of your own seems to me he really embraced Rose City and wants to become cult hero there
Nurk to the Blazers will become like Dirk is to the Mavs....actually become a big part of Blazer culture and love Portland back.....we struck gold with this young beast
I'm wondering if Nurk will end up just being a Chris Kaman level player. Kaman was a pretty good center, but he's one of those borderline all-stars where you probably have to invest a ton of money in him to keep him, but he's not going to make you a contender. Kaman put up really similar numbers in stretches as Nurk did for us last year. They have similar styles of play IMO.
