I haven't seen any news about him. No signing, not renounced, no retirement. He could still be a sizable cap hold if we haven't signed him or renounced him. Did I miss it?
I haven't seen anything, either. I did run across this Quick article from just before the trade deadline. It's a good read. As others have said, I hope he sticks with the team as a big man coach. http://www.csnnw.com/portland-trail...azers-veteran-hopes-his-next-exploit-portland

So he's not retired. Yet. He's a UFA. His cap hold is reported here: http://www.spotrac.com/nba/portland-trail-blazers/cap/ Looks close to the LT, ~$400K over.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/por/salary These guys can be cut (I think) to get us under, assuming these data are correct:
I think he should just throw in the towel and start coaching or just be a family man. He doesn't have much to offer anymore on the floor, sadly.
We will hear the Blazers have hired him under some capacity before long, big man coach, team ambassador, color commentator...
Man, I hope your right. I wonder if you can still buy a Kaman Jersey? I think I want one regardless of what happens.
What speaking ability has he ever shown? What coaching ability has he ever exhibited? 1. White 7-footers must not be wasted. 2. Olshey Clipper draftees and assistant coaches must be rescued from mediocre performances with other teams. Therefore, Kaman has lifetime employment here.
He's hilarious...something Tone never was ..."We needed to come out at halftime, step on their throats and finish them off" ...that was a favorite of mine. His mentoring after Hughes was fired has been mentioned by a lot of people on the staff and players. I know....we didn't get a new roster and new coaching staff but it can still be fun!
A while ago I was wondering why everyone here seemed so positive he was retiring. I wouldn't be surprised if he was on a roster next season.
