Kaman Still Receiving Criticism For Choosing Germany

    The IOC is too indifferent to do anything about this.

    I'm not judging his entire life based on this action. It's just something inappropriate to me.

    Its kind of a double standard. Tim Duncan basically gets praised for playing for team USA even though he was from the Virgin Islands, but Kaman is a traitor? Not fair to Kaman, but at the same time if he can vote here, is a permanent resident, and enjoys American freedoms I can see why people would want him to play here.

    I don't really understand what his motivation was to play in the first place. He had to know that Germany isn't going to win a medal. Maybe he just sees it as a summer warm up.

    Well Duncan did go to Wake Forest for four years (and spend 7 years in the NBA over here before the 2004 Olympics), it's not quite the same case.
