i dont know how anyone could like Freddie Mitchell he is loud, annoying and to top it all off hes HORRIBLE. if he was just horrible i think only Eagles fans would hate him. But he created hype for himself. Marketed himself and tryed to make himself popular. He even called out Patriot players who everyone knew would kick his ass. And then in the Superbowl when everyone is watching him to see if he'd do good. He did what he normally did, sucked. He had an absolutely horrible game. Then he blamed it on the coaches cause they didnt throw to him enough. Its all bullshit. Hes a dumbass, and hes not good.

Ay first, I was angry. But From what I have been reading, we signed him for a song. Vermeil says he will compete for a spot on the roster. If the young guys beat him out, then the problem is solved. Remember though, that he was a 1st round pick. Anytime you can get a guy who was drafted that high for a bargain basement price is a good thing (I think). Vermeil and Al Saunders both felt like Freddie Mitchell wasn't the best fit for the west coast offense that Philadelphia ran. They also said that it was his downfield blocking ability that they were most impressed with. The way we pull linemen to break Priest out into open space requires that the WRs can hold up their end of the deal once he is free. I am still not sold, but I feel it is a low risk/high reward venture and I will hold my judgement for now. (The sad thing is that he may well be better than any of our starting wideouts.)
the one block i remember from the superbowl was an illegal pick, which helped TO get like 20 yrds. I will be very suprised if he helps KC at all. good luck to all the KC fans. The only bright thing i see for you guys is your new linebacker. he looks great. hope he helps your defence.

Green is a great QB and Mitchell definitely has something to prove. The guy has skills, its a matter of how badly he wants to remain in the NFL.
