All I could gather from the language was Sacre bleu and that's because of a French soldier of fortune character in a comic book series I read as a kid back in the mid to late 50s.
Kinda sucks if you have the name.... my aunt is named Karen. People don't want to name their kids Karen now.
It's kinda funny to me though because usually when a name dies it's because someone killed it. Adolf. There's a good reason why that name and that mustache are dead and gone. What's funny to me is that the Karen meme has been attributed to generation that was mostly Ashley's and Kimberley's and shit like that. My aunt is in her 60s. I think most Karen's were born in the 60s. The name doesn't fit. Most of the bitchy "karen's" are Gen X.
I don't even think there was. It was just a random name that seemed to fit with one of those bitchy "take me to your manager" hairdoo memes.
A good question without a definitive answer, apparently: https://www.startribune.com/will-it-be-justice-or-mercy-for-central-park-karen/571833921/
The first time I remember seeing it was attributed to the "take me to your manager" haircut. Which again, is so weird to me because the haircut and the name aren't from the same generations. These are Gen Xers.
