if he goes to dallas he's not gonna be getting the scoring record. also i dont think that really even improves the mavs, because they need toughness and rebounding and a real big man. malone is non of these, i mean lets face it, he's no antoine walker. i think there'll be talk of him goin to the mavs now, but when its actually time for him to go somewhere, itll be a lesser team where he can score a lot.
i dont think the spurs would take him. d-rob retires.. and they pick up a guy who's even older than him? spurs want to win for years to come, so they won't pick up a guy who's been playing forever

no its not a joke, nowdays malone plays outside shooting jumpers, the mavs dont need that; malone doesnt get inside and play physical and get 10+ rebounds anymore, the mavs need a big man inside and rebounding. they may get 7 rebs/game from malone, but he doesnt block shots at all and isnt a physical presence right now. they need a big, great rebounding player like antoine walker, he'd get em 20,30 rebounds per game and theyd have the title sewn up for the next 15 years.
i have a hard time believing that. Antoine has never averaged even 15 rebounds a game. how would he average 30 a game?

no. toine wouldnt average more than 15. he probably wouldnt average more than 10. hes a good rebounder but spends too much time on the perimeter to be a real force ont he boards
