I'm not a fan of the lakers....i'm just defend two future hall of famers....nothing to do with L.A's other players..just malone and GP....
I have respect for GP and Malone, too (even though they've tormented Sactown for the past decade), but face it, they're not that good anymore.
Yes they are..GP is a top 3 PG in this league...malone is still a top 5-10 PF...stats don't lie...saying they aren't that good anymore is like saying KG can't dunk

Not to mention the aging, yet wise Vlade Divac.</div> you talk a lot of stuff for someone that doesn't say much. i don't see one bit of fact in that entire post. its one thing to be optimistic about your team, but its a whole 'nother thing to be completely blinded with bias. the facts are the kings still don't have an answer for shaq. cwebb has had great success against the lakers in the past...but malone will be a huge upgrade. bibby and bobby both have had huge success against the lakers as well, but with GP they'll have to expend some energy on the defensive end....which means less energy for the offensive end for them...not to mention GP is an upgrade defensively.
delusions of grandure. the kings couldn't beat the lakers when they didn't have malone or payton. they are going to get squashed when they play us. we now have 4 guys who can score and lead a team. you can no longer triple team shaq because he's going to A. pass to kobe B. pass to karl malone C. pass to gary payton. so which poison do you want A B or C? it's amazing that most kings fans actually think payton and malone are going to make the lakers worse. but of course most king fans are new to the nba and are a bunch and bandwagon jumpers, so it's not surprising.
