    Just got back from Anini beach north of us. Listened to some music, read some books. Once again had the whole place to ourselves.
    Exactly the reason we come here. Nobody around.

    We had some very deep-pocketed friends rent a 7-bedroom oceanfront home with a pool last year for a big group of friends. It’d be a sick way to live. If I had that kind of money….

    That being said, we’re happy with our little slice of paradise. After a chill hour or two on the beach, went to the local cantina for some bomb tacos and now sitting outside and enjoying the singing of coqui frogs right now.

    dunno how anyone can’t get down with the islands…

    Those are some great pics!

    We're headed to Maui next month. My wife got some type of bonus week thru a time-share she's had for years. We'll be flying points and companion pass, so lodging and air are handled. The resort is in Kehei, which appears to be off-the-beaten-path a bit. That's OK, though!

    these trees are bad. they advise you to be cautious of buying houses with these trees around them (but beautiful photo).
