    She's transparently suffering from dementia.

I give her 4-6 months before she either dies or is impeached for inability to conduct her duties.

The part that I wonder about (even though I will never vote for Booker for anything), is that we seem to be discounting that people can (and should) grow. In my worldview "there is none righteous, not one", and while there are varying levels of heinous crimes, if the bar is going to be purity going back 50 years, I don't know how you fight that. With that said, I personally had to make hard choices at 16 that allowed me to be where I am today, and people who I was with who made the wrong ones are in a worse position because of it. :dunno:

It's hard for me to condemn people because they were dumb at 16. It's easy for me to want to punish and set up for future deterrence people who have seriously hurt or raped people, or who are multiple offenders.

We are both living organisms. Why should we have a soul and they not? They feel joy and suffering as we do. Our brains might be more evolved. That is the only difference. We are both Animals.

In retrospect, my feelings on Kavanaugh had very little to do with the sexual allegations, but I didn't like the fact that he lied, showed lack of control, showed a complete bias against another party and some of his policies I disagreed with and felt that regardless of party affiliation there had to be someone better than Kavanaugh.

Look, you simply NEVER have to deal with assumed guilt.

I deal with it every day. We are assumed guilty.

Feel privileged that you aren't treated that way.

That has nothing to do with how much money we earn.

Rich athletes are being beaten by police so stop talking about economic privilege. It's because Sterling was black.

Look into the story about millionaire basketball player John Henson being denied entry into a jewellery store for being black. I'll wait.

That bitch don't know WTF she's talking about and you shouldn't listen to a word she says because she's not making a point, she's parroting one.

We gonna start believing her cohort Kanye when that MF says "slavery was a choice"?

Your privilege exists. The sooner y'all acknowledge it, the sooner race relations will begin to get better.

Do you have an answer to this question?

It has NEVER been that way. Ever. This is completely untrue.

It’s not your skin color holding you back, it’s your victim mentality and the way you carry yourself... you will never be able to control how every single person in the world thinks, and for you to stereotype entire groups of people because of independent isolated incidents is ignorant and asinine... you will never be happy until you realize this.

My dad came here from another county with no money and barely speaking the language and made it... he was constantly harassed and attacked for looking different... he never made excuses and always worked hard and was greatful all the opportunities this country has given him... he didn’t live life making excuses and was always happy

It's honestly like a bizarro reality in which white people pretend everyone is treated exactly the same, has the same rights and opportunities, etc. and should therefore be walking side by side with them in middleclass America. In my opinion, this is a pretty racist outlook considering the overwhelming poverty in black America. Without admitting there is an imbalance they can place blame on the people themselves rather than the system that royally fucks them at every turn. It is not difficult to be opinionated and cruel, but it's obviously difficult to be compassionate and open-minded.
