I like the fact that the players are the NBA therefore they are fully guaranteed to see the money they negotiate. I might let the teams off the hook for bad decisions by always allowing the teams to amnesty their players.

While I agree, for some teams it’s the only way to get even marginal talent.

    I call bull.

Neil didn't have to pay Turner that much to get him to sign. He didn't have to pay Butters a red cent. Nobody was clamoring for Harkless' services but since he paid butters so much he couldn't sign him to the Aminu type deal he should've gotten.

Man I would jump up and down and cry like a little baby if we got Kawhi. I'm sure it won't happen, though. :(

Faried and 14 then 14 and Aminu for Bayless (in a 3 team trade).

Bookies are pretty sure he’s going to Lakers. I thought Sixers would be close to favorites but they are +1500 while Lakers are -180.

It worries me because if this happens then they are also getting George and possibly LeBron as well. A team with those three will comfortably get 60 wins and reach conference finals, and will be completely out of reach for us.

Plus I hate Lakers so much that I’d actually cheer Warriors against them. This team would be proper evil.

Suspicions are that Kawhi left because of Aldridge (who always wants to be the star of his team). But do any links back that up?

the absurdity of including a bunk sandwich didn’t make you think maybe he was being less than serious? Not saying this is very funny but jeez you and boob both getting old and salty about this stuff.

I'm not convinced Kawhi wants out of SA.

These rumors sound more like his agent putting pressure on SA to give Kawhi the super max, which is what he really wants.

From what I've read the supermax is on the table. Mr Leonard is contemplating walking away from it. You think you know somebody...

No, but I can also read.

The only source I trust is Woj.
His last report stated the $215 million has not been offered. And may not be offered until next season. Unless Kawhi can convince them he wants to stay with the Spurs, and is healthy. That meeting has not taken place yet.

Is there a more recent Woj report that I missed?

Also, Kawhi has told his good friend and teamate Danny Green he wants to stay with the Spurs.

All the noise about Kawhi leaving is coming from his "camp/agent".

But I don't see how the Spurs would WANT to facilitate any trade with the lakers.

Me neither. And also why would the lakers give up assets when they could just sign him next summer?

Doesn't make sense for Philly to trade down 4 spots and take on a similar salary as Bayless. Word is they would like to get rid of his salary.

"...and Aminu for Bayless (in a 3 team trade)."

Aminu going to a 3rd team with cap space or a TPE big enough to accept him. #14 to Philadelphia, #10 and Bayless to Portland.
