CJ will be a Jamal Crawford type 15 and 4 guy off the bench. He's not a future all star, but instead a future 6th man of the year candidate.

+> There was a thread "CJ is horrible". At that time he was. Rookie life. He steady became better and in the playoffs came through. The addition of a rookie to replace that experience is low probability. The addition of a rookie in that position able to steadily improve is improbable. I agree. If he becomes an all star he will need more minutes.

Hell no we have 2 all stars in the making. CJ will be a top 10 player and if Meyers continues to grow like he did last year he will be a stud. Jacking up shot from 3 point land like they were lay ups. I think both players have major upside

CJ will be a top 10 player??? Haha I don't even need to argue that. I suppose Plumlee, Vonleh, Crabbe, and half of the league are all stars in the making too?

I've been a big CJ fan since before we drafted him. I think him and Dame can share the floor just fine. That wasn't why we lost in the playoffs it was Nic and Rolo poor play along with LaMarcus thumb.

If we keep Wes I expect him to play mostly at SF. Wes has poor handles for a SG so you need a player to prevent constant traps of Damian. Some don't realize Wes was usually playing SF when Nic sat and the other times often guarded the SF when on the court with Nic. CJ will play a lot more point this year when Dame sits and that should be fun too.

Neil has always thought highly of CJ, and clearly still does. He's not going anywhere. If CJ is traded, it's only going to be for a player(s) that literally makes us instant title contenders.

Neil is going after a big time FA alongside LMA, and I'm not sure who. But if we're successful, this will be a very fun and talented team next season.

Playing Wes at SF will make his postups ineffective. He'll be posting up Jeff Greens and Wilson Chandlers instead of JJ Redicks and James Hardens

Yes maybe he'd be posting up less but we'd have CJ and Dame driving and Wes hitting corner threes which is better. Plenty of teams play wings Wes could post up here or there.

I would. It's still unclear where CJ is going as a player. But if he stays, he will always have a role as a scorer off the bench.

CJ and Leonard with cap space could be great pieces to nab a troubled all star. Are there any around other than Hibbert cuz I wouldn't trade for him using those pieces.

David Lee is very available and for a lot cheaper than that.

Is this kind of like when Batum came into the league and people said he was the next Scottie Pippen?

There's something about undersized SF's I don't like, especially when you have a small SG in CJ. I know it'd be fine, I just like having length. Only problem was Wes wasn't a good rebounder for a SG, playing him at SF would definitly hurt our rebounding
it'd have to be like Cousins or near that level. If we were to trade CJ and Meyers it'd probably be for a starting SG or SF. I don't know who's an all star that's available though.

That's kinda what I was thinking. Give them CJ, Leonard and cap space for Cousins

Hell if we got Cousins itd probably be better if LA left. Paul Millsap would be a perfect fit next to him.
