1) He knows the plays, so he won't be a problem in scrimmage, and he can teach the rook the plays. 2) He won't be demanding PT. 3) He's Dame's cousin. 4) He's got some serious blackmail material on Neil. He sure can't play, so I'm guessing all 4?
I mentioned this fact first time we signed him .....you think it's Dame or Neil that want him here but it could be Jody Allen.....maybe he works security for her in the off season......just sayin'
I’ve never heard of or seen anything like Blevins being in the NBA. He isn’t a starter at Gonzaga. I don’t think he starts or makes a roster at most top 20 programs. Yet he’s in year two with the Portland trailblazers.
Seems like alot of people here have never signed an employment contract with perks. i get free coffee, lunches, overnight fishing trips, use of company vehicles, etc. And thats on my meager salary. This is just a perk for Dame and wont affect our playing or win loss record at all. its just a perk peeps. Aint no thang!
He does not belong in the league, if he is on this roster again next season I will be beyond irritated, how much of this crap do we have to put up with?
Let's not jump to conclusions here. Depending on how things play out this summer, we might very well need him to tank once again next season.
If nothing else, he’s earned two years of the NBA minimum salary. If he’s smart, that’s a pretty good financial foundation for a kid his age. It’s time for him to show some self awareness and move on to something he’s actually good at…..
I’ve played against guys that played pro in Europe and I honestly don’t think Blevins is good enough to hang with them. He might be able to beat me one on one (I’m jk I know he’d whoop me, but you get what I’m saying)
Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure when Neil asked for a resume, BlevGOD just handed him a napkin with the words "I'm Dame's cousin" written on it.
Disturbing evidence Dame doesn't prioritize the Blazers contending. Yes it's a very minor team asset. I just could never imagine Jordan or Bird enableing a family member on their teams NBA roster over a more talented player.
