Re: Kelly Pavlik (35-1) vs. Sergio Mora (25-1-1) [27-Jun-09] (HBO PPV)

A pair of gutsy wins over Jermain Taylor pushed Kelly Pavlik into boxing's star-starved spotlight in 2007 and 2008. His undefeated record rushed him into a bout with veteran fighter Bernard Hopkins in October--where Pavlik was dominated and handed his first loss. The "Ghost" has since returned to middleweight, winning via TKO over Marco Antonio Rubio in February in his hometown (Youngstown, Ohio). His next challenger, Sergio Mora, is not necessarily a top-five middleweight. Mora lost his last bout, a rematch with Vernon Forrest, in a lopsided decision in September at the MGM Grand. The former light middleweight champion moves up to face Pavlik, who will have a height and reach advantage in the bout. Pavlik's next opponent, should he dispatch with Mora, is expected to be British super middleweight Carl Froch, who recently defeated Taylor to push his record to 25-0.

Should be an easy win for Pavlik. Mora can be elusive, though. He's got no power, however.
