I thought it was very funny. And if I didn't follow the Blazers at all I probably would have thought 11 was true.

"11" what? I'm not following. If he meant 11 points, that is a lame, ignorant, and seemingly meanspirited "joke." But, whatever, it's an entertainment show. They get paid to be asses; good for them.

2nd 20/10 game of his young career/rookie season and 12th double double of his young career/rookie season leading the Blazers and the Rookies. GO GREGORY!

I think that's funny. Humor is often intentionally steeped in ignorant statements that overstate the truth.

And the truth is that Oden has not been impressive on many levels this year.

I have no problem with the joke. I am not at all worried about Oden.

If I were an Iverson fan, I'd be pissed off at Webber's comments... did you guys see/hear them? About Iverson being the most difficult to get the ball from in Webber's career? WAY too honest. Poor Webber got away with that on NBATV, but on TNT he's going to catch hell for being honest.

I liked how they threw Webber under the bus when David Alridge told Iverson that Webber said he should be coming off the bench. You could see Iverson didn't like that. Makes an entertaining show.

Yea that is actually why I like watching NBATonight on NBATV with Cweb, Ahmad Rashad, and GP. First of all, they are laughing most of the time about something. Secondly, they throw each other under the bus all the time, especially when comments are made to players in order to "brown nose" them. Lastly, GP and Cweb will call it like it is. They have no problem talking about guys who are not producing and calling them out.

Indeed... I don't like a commentator being overly negative, but NBA players DO mess up, and they DO have flaws, and it's frustrating to see those negative opinions never given because they are friends with the players.

Barkley once did color commentary on a game on TNT and he was awesome. I wish he would do more.
