<div class="quote_poster">Quoting PG2:</div><div class="quote_post">The Nuggets already got Marcus Camby and NeNe, why do they need KMart? No way NeNe is coming off the bench, that guy is quality material. But can he play Center? Kmart is a pure PF and so is NeNe, what will happen if they sign him????</div> Cambys an FA after the season if we sign KMart we wont be able to signe Camby back, so our starting five would be Miller An FA Melo KMart Nene I personally would rather have Camby and Nene then sign a SG like QRich.
To those of you who doesn't want KMart on the Nuggets, just look at what he can do for you. http://www.nba.com/sprite/ Watch the number 2 play.
I'll tell you what, The Denver Nuggets are going to be a playoff team in The Western Conference for the next 5-10 years. This off season will mark the beginning of a great decade for the fans in Denver, here's my proposal if I ran the show. Resign quality role players, guys like Chris Anderson, Earl Boykins, and Rodney White. If possible, I believe there is an option this year on his contract, release Marcus Camby. He's having a great year but he's over paid and he's injury prone. Perhaps if they can talk down his asking price than resigning him would be helpful. Kenyon Martin, Antoine Walker, or Carlos Boozer. Bringing in an ALLSTAR power foward would elevate Denver to greater heights. Nene is more than capable of playing Center, infact I believe he'd suit alot better in that postion. 6'11" and 260 pounds, certainly he can be an effective center. Yes Yes, the future certainly does look bright in Denver. Regardless if it's snowing all the time.
We already have Boykins for a few years, also theirs a misconception of people always calling every bench player a role player, Boykins and WHite aren't role players, just bench players. Andersen is a role player. Yea we need to get Andersen, White and Elson back, I think Camby's option is a player option, so its not up to the team to release him or not. He has said he would opt out though, o we can either get him at a cheaper price, or let him go. Kenyon and Boozer would be good if we lost Camby, Antoine Walker would be horrible. I'm not a fan of your power forward shooting between 39 and 42% and launching up three's like a retard when he's not even that good a shooter. The only problem is that Nene isn't a shot blocker (yet), he could get their, but I don't know. If we get Boozer we have no shot blocking presence inside (in the starters), and if we get Kenyon we have on but not a good as it currently is. Our inside presence is one of the best assets of the team, and Camby is a very good defender, even though he has hi baggage with him.
^^^^^ According to Hoops Hype, Boykins was only signed to a one year deal, his contract was for 2.5 Million. Kenyon Martin would be the best fit for Denver. He's a great shot blocker, he'll run the Fast Break with Denver, he can defend and he can score in the low post. If he did sign they could move Nene to center, Kenyon will make up for Nene's lack of shot blocking ability. In my opinion there couldn't be a better fit for Denver than Kenyon Martin.
Yea I know, hoopshype screwed up on that one, I was guessing thats where you got it from. http://www.contracostatimes.com/mld/cctime...rts/6434739.htm
Chris is hardly a role player. I love the guy to death but this year hes played like shit. Im still wondering if we should sign him or not.
