He has time to get there. Norm played all 4 years at UCLA (141 games)
Keon would be a junior in college this upcoming year.

If Keon had Norm's size he'd be a much better fit alongside Ant.

So I guess you play him alongside Gp2, or Hart, or eventually SS.

I'm certainly not counting on Keon developing into anything on our team. But, if it happens, that is just some gravy. And I do like gravy.

Keon actually measured 1/2 inch tally than Norm without shoes, however Norm's wingspan is 3 .5 inches longer and his standing reach about 5 inched more than Keon, Keon has him in leaping ability and quickness

Right, as I said before you don't play hoops with the top of your head. Standing reach and weight are probably the two measurements I look to first to see what sort of positional size a guy is. Not only is Norm a lot longer then Keon, he also weighed 30 lbs more at his respective combine.

IMO he'll be a significantly better defender than Norm, his scoring/3 Ball will tell a key tale about his career. I liked the improvement in his shooting I saw in summer league, let's see how he does this season

He barely plays. That is what will happen this season.

If he's playing much this season it will be because either he's shooting the lights out from deep or there has been a rash of injuries... one of those things is more likely then the other

Yeah, I mean, they signed GP2 who will play over him. If they had a lot of hope for him they should have thought long and hard about signing GP2 and hard capping us. Hoping that Sharpe gets some minutes at SG too.

With Dame, Ant, Gp2, Hart, Sharpe.... i just don't see the minutes there for Keon.

During summer league, Keon was pretty clearly our most effective guard.
On media day, several people named Keon as the guy who has improved the most from last season.
Last night, with the 5 boards and 11 assists, he was arguably our best player (no knock on Sharpe).

All of these can pretty easily be dismissed as not significant enough to mean anything on their own, but enough insignificant pieces of evidence can start to add up. Our guard rotation was already too crowded for Sharpe; Keon emerging will only make things more complicated.

I think that might be the biggest benefit to our team if he is.

I'd say he definitely has more PG instincts than Ant. Looks like he is interested in running an offense. Team definitely ran better with him there.

Which honestly would probably be the best thing for Ant, if he could play with a guy like Keon who could play PG on offense and SG/SF on defense.

Johnson/Simons/Sharpe could be a very exciting and very good 1-2-3 for a decade.
