500 ft, in general, is a very long distance in regards to driving behind another vehicle. I would have guessed that getting back in to the lane of the ambulance or other vehicle that is allowed to have flashing lights would be a shorter distance than that while still maintaining a safe cushion.

I am now educated on this matter and heartily thank, Dviss1, for the information that could ultimately have us all live longer [no accident] and maintain prosperity [no ticket]. :headbang::rockon:

I now hate the state of Oklahoma even more. I didn't think that was possible.

Hey, there is a slight chance I could be a hero someday. I'll just eat a lot of ribs and wine coolers and then go to the movies.

I'll fart sooo bad people will leave. Then in the off chance there is a theater shooting I'll get a medal for minimizing the casualties.

I know that sounds ridiculous but it isn't far from what happened.

I had to read that again because it was confusing. So Durant was backing up in a traffic jam on a major Highway? Instead of pulling over to let the ambulance by, he was backing up so he could get behind it? And for that they gave him a medal? Is that right? Shouldn't he get a ticket for going the wrong way? And failure to yield for an emergency vehicle?

Question: If you are stuck in a traffic jam in the Terwilliger Curves, and some douche in a Ferrari starts backing up, do you move out of the way?

You better hope you have a dash cam, because it's difficult to prove who was at fault in that scenario.

Yeah I had to read it multiple times. Stupid fucking article. The idiot reporter even called him their power forward..... Should've just left it at forward if you don't know what the fuck you're talking about... I guess they just figured out what basketball was a couple years ago though..

    Please, don't ever change.

And yes, yes it is. Meet me at the Krispy Kreme in Beaverton at midnight and we'll race.
