Im with ya. Its just so much more gut wrenching. LOL But I totally agree. Id rather be in the games in the end. Makes them easier to watch too.
I figured you were half joking about getting blown out anyway, but I replied anyway lol. Game 2 was pretty depressing, but we can still pull this off. It won't be easy and game 3 win is a Must in order to try and start doing that otherwise the alternative is the Warriors played like the champs they are. Either way we should all be bummed if things dont end up going our way, but to get where we get, injuries and all, I know that this team laid it all on the line and they have made me one happy fan going into next season.
Meh. Not satisfied. Never satisfied until we win it all, but think of it more like this..... The Blazers are a starving camel in the desert, in extreme need of hydration. They came up on a small pool of water and though they drank it all and it didn't completely hydrate them, they got enough to continue on forward to look for the next larger pond. Not satisfied, but content with the progress compared to last year. Not fully satisfied, but the hunger pains have been lessened and that is something isn't it? Better than nothing isn't it? I think most every member here wants us to win it all. I don't think most every member here reminds themselves that only one team wins it all and to go this far is better than what 90% of the league did. How can you not be happy with that, but still want more? I think the narrative around here that is getting old for almost everyone, both sides included, is the black or white analogy that you are either unhappy or completely happy. Why cant it be both? Unhappy with some things, but happy with others?
I'm not. We potentially could have won a championship back then if we had Durant instead of no-knees Oden.
That's not so bad because then you remember you still live in SF, you're still rich and your wife just got her new tits done.
