Both players will be available, neither will stay put, and it's obvious we're banking on getting one of them since we've made no effort to fill our gaping hole at the 3 spot.
I do think it's more likely that we end up with one of them, than KD re-signing with OKC. That's not saying much though!
My money would be on the guy the Blazers should have drafted on draft day! LBJ will stay if the Cavs win a championship. My respect level will go even lower if he bolts Cleveland a 2nd time because he can't win a championship there.
Threads like this seriously challenge the mental health of this fan base. We have better odds in Vegas.
But, but, but, If there is no hope, even false hope, then what is there? Acceptable misery? Not going there, Im not built that way. Rather get hopes up and be let down at times, than just ride the pessimistic slide to hell.
Who said anything about a ride to hell. You can have fun with low standards dude. It's like squeezing water from a rock. Weve still got a team, so everything is cool.
Why not? Personally, I think KD would seriously consider playing alongside Lillard after all those years beating his head against Westbrook's ego...
I think they would move WestBrick before they let KD go. In fact, if KD is tired of WestBrick and approached management, they would ship WestBrick out faster than flies on shit
If LeBron leaves Cleveland a 2nd time with no championship he will have dug himself a big hole! How could even consider someone like that the top 5 best in history?
1. If LeBron leaves Cleveland Dan Gilbert will put a contract on him, and not the kind that pays him money. 2. Who isn't going to try and land Durant?
Fagetaboutit! As others have mentioned, so many teams will have cap space. We'll be giving a raise to Meyers Leonard. Maybe we can work out a deal with Vonleh, Plumlee and McCollum to give them an early raise/extension, in exchange for them getting less per year than they might get if they waited for their rookie contracts to expire.
