PRO: Kevin Love is still an all-star quality player, and the only one we have any shot at. CON: But why would Cleveland trade him RIGHT AFTER giving him that massive contract? PRO: Not to be indelicate, but their slightly crazy owner just had a stroke and it was probably his call to give Love that crazy contract. CON: So you admit it's crazy? Especially because Love is (a) getting old and (b) ALWAYS injury-prone PRO: ...which is the only reason we could conceivably trade for him, given that our only appealing players are the ones we want to keep. CON: But if we get Love we'll have a cap-killing contract in a couple of years when we're trying to rebuild? PRO: So fucking what? We could all be dead in a couple of years. Want to waste the one or two peak years Lillard has left on mediocrity?
