I don't want Kevin Love for the Blazers. I don't think he can lead a team to a championship and I think the Cavs would have made a different trade in retrospect even if they're still contenders. IF we didn't already have a high-level PF and needed a player of Love's abilities maybe, that's not the case right now and Love isn't worth the price-tag and hype.
After seeing Leonard progress this season, he may become a better version of Love anyway. One that can be coached and actually play defense
Kevin Love might be the replacement for Timmy in SA. As much fun as people make of Love he is still an incredible player who just needs to learn to play some better D and if anyone can teach him to do that Pop Could.
I think he can play. I think he is slightly overrated but I think he can play. I think we as fans would see a drop off lets say if Love was to ever replace LA. Probably similar to the one we seen with Rasheed Wallace to Shareef Abdur Rahim when that trade was made.. It was noticeable.
He never said that but thats what everyone used to assume because their contracts were always the same length. Ever since pops contract extension people who know him say he wants to couch a year or two after Timmy retires so he can make sure to not leave SA in the dump with both him and Timmy retiring at the same time.
He said it in an interview once, I saw it. When asked when he'd retire he answered, probably whenever Timmy does. This was a couple years ago or maybe even last season.
I kind of hope he ends up on the Lakers this offseason. Would prevent them from being relevant for a decade.
It's not that you know nothing. You may have remembered it wrong. http://elitedaily.com/sports/gregg-popovich-says-hell-retire-when-tim-duncan-retires/
