I was thinking more along the lines that Stotts doesn't seem to like to get out and run much. I agree about Love's outlet passing, although I thought his rebounding stats were always a bit deceptive.
Until i see a more mainstream media member talk about this i am gonna file this under the heading of : Nice topic to talk about but prolly BS
Love was one of the best low post scorers in the league in Minnesota. In Cleveland, he's been relegated to a shooter because the Cavs needed spacing and room for James to operate.
It's almost sad to watch Portland fans get excited about another "possible" acquisition. I can just picture Olshey scheduling a press conference to announce our latest "exciting acquisition" and then being hurt and surprised when the crowd throws pitchforks at him when he says it's Napier.
If they renounce JR smith with Mozgov and Delly leaving they are at 96m so if they trade love they would have roughly 18m a year to offer Wade.
of course Trading Kevin Love just to sign Wade seems like a bad deal on the cavs part. We don't have much to offer them on cheap contracts, we coudl give them there first back but it makes more sense to send Love to Boston for Crowder and picks then to us for simply cap space.
And Boom. He's atleast expected to talk to CLE soon. Has to be a reason for it http://www.ohio.com/sports/cavs/cav...t-are-limited-in-what-they-can-offer-1.695084
It would be LeBron's ultimate revenge against Pat Riley, especially if Bosh's blood clots force him to retire.
I don't mind if Love comes to Portland. But I see nothing that indicates Portland has a Championship team in sight. Just a team to take the court, give Mark Mason some time to exercise the pipes, and fill the seats with the ever hopeful.
