When I saw this thread, I thought it was a joke. You know, a satire on all the player comparison threads. I can't believe it's actually a serious thread.
In terms of talent-Martin, but if i were constructing a team, then I choose AP simply because of the reasons ghoti stated
i can't choose two completely different players AP is the definition of a Professional though, never complains, one of my favourite players, i serously wish he was younger so he'd be here for long and hit his prime here
I like the comparison. Makes you think more than a "Martin or Redd" type of choice. Martin is like Ginobili in that he probably works best on a team with a superior inside player. Parker is an excellent role player for cheap. If I can afford to pay Martin's salary, and I have an inside player for him to work off of, yeah, take him. If I can't, Parker is an easy guy to slip into your roster.
