^^well then i really hope we dont do a trade with the bulls because every other team is offering an all star caliber player, while we get no one from you?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheFreshPrince:</div><div class="quote_post">I'd take TT, Gordon, Deng, Duhon, Knicks pick, and your next year for it to happen, but then again im not mchale so it doesnt really matter</div> Your being bias and overrating KG’s value dramatically he has only one year (two at most) left on his contract (assuming this trade happens after the season). He is going to be 31 why would the Bulls trade all that for him. You are viewing it from a fan point of view as opposed to a logical one. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">^^well then i really hope we dont do a trade with the bulls because every other team is offering an all star caliber player, while we get no one from you?</div> It's youth who has potential to be all stars and franchise players that you are getting in return. Tyrus Thomas, Ben Gordon, and Deng all have all star potential there is no way KG gets you all three let alone the Knicks pick.
^^thsat original deal had one unlikely all star, thats it and was based off a fans point of view, not a loogical one
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheFreshPrince:</div><div class="quote_post">^^thsat original deal had one unlikely all star, thats it and was based off a fans point of view, not a loogical one</div> It was both a logical one and a fan point of view. Although, it only had one possible all star (in your opinion) you got an expiring contract that provides cap flexibility going to Minnesota, a pure point guard who has shown the ability to run an offense both as a starter and backup, and one of the best defenders in the league in Andres Nocioni. There are hardly any more superstar for superstar trades in the league what makes you think the Wolves are going to acquire a superstar for KG in return? Also even if they did what would make him successful in Minnesota when KG was unable to do it alone? Teams trade superstars to fill needs and rebuild if KG is traded that is what Minnesota will be doing. The trade you where suggesting would be like me saying "It would take at least Kobe, Odom, and Parker to get Tyrus Thomas".
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheFreshPrince:</div><div class="quote_post">^^thsat original deal had one unlikely all star, thats it and was based off a fans point of view, not a loogical one</div> A fan's point of view not a logical one? I hope you don't mean me because I've been a professional sports writer for almost two years buddy. The Wolves are in a downward spiral right now and they need to rebuild that team fast otherwise they will just sit around and drown themselves trying to build around a single player. Sometimes you just got to let go. Heck, if I were in your situation truthfully I'd be happy to get Deng, Sweetney, a future first round draft pick, and big wads of cash. No offense bro, but did you ever come to think the cash could be used to sign a big talent? There are plenty of people out there and after this season there will be even more on the market. Don't think I'm writing this as a Bulls fan wanting Garnett to come here I'm writing you that type of deal from a pro stand point, that's it.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting M Two One:</div><div class="quote_post">A fan's point of view not a logical one? </div> I believe he is talking about AXB's proposal, but either way....
^^not even close, TT is nothin, dont even say that. Who in the first trade is a possible all star in your mind? i doubt deng will edit two post up concerning the kobe trade thing
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Best Kept Secret:</div><div class="quote_post">I believe he is talking about AXB's proposal, but either way....</div> Aznxballer? Oh yeah then I can definitely agree with you there.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheFreshPrince:</div><div class="quote_post">^^not even close, TT is nothin, dont even say that. Who in the first trade is a possible all star in your mind? i doubt deng will edit two post up concerning the kobe trade thing</div> Tyrus Thomas is nothing, but a second pick overall (in realistically he was) who is being labeled the next Shawn Marion. The trade scenerio I created is obviously an exaggeration to show you how bad you sound right now. In the first trade scenario Deng and Nocioni have all-star potential in my opinion. Although, Nocioni may never be an all star he is an above average player as is most of the players in that deal. Deng is only 21 he spent only one season at Duke so he was raw coming into the league. He is actually ahead of what many people expected out of him at this point. Coming into the league, he was labeled a project, but he has shown he is far from it. Like I stated before there are no superstar for superstar trades in the league these days if KG could not get it done by himself what makes you think any other superstar you acquire would be able to? If you trade KG the franchise will be looking for young talent with cheap contracts so they can rebuild and reload. Trading KG signifies going into rebuilding mode there is no way around it. BTW: Just hit the quote button bro it will make everyones life a whole lot easier.
IT WAS JUST SOMETHING TO PROVE IT IS POSSIBLE! Damn. Alright, but I'm just wondering, if you have Brown, Deng, a pick, and cash for Garnett, does the cash actually take the place of contracts? Because obviously that wouldn't work out as far as the salaries go. They're just too far apart, which is the reason I had to throw all those contracts in the crazy deal I posted up (WHICH WAS JUST SOMETHING TO PROVE TO VCWANNABE).
