Sure, Trump would like to take over the Russian investigation so why not have the Saudi's investigate themselves. I'm sure they will be impartial.

"He is waiting for the results of the investigations being done by the Saudis and Turkey"

You guys must have missed that. What are you expecting anyway?

As much as I would love to bash Trump for his usual routine, I am not surprised and every president since I can remember has played the same game. The Saudis were responsible for 9/11 for crying out loud and we turned a blind eye to that. What makes anyone think our current disaster of a president would do anything about a reporter being off'd by them?

Funny thing about this is how brazen the Saudi's are. If they literally would have killed him ANYWHERE besides an embassy then they would have got off with zero backlash.

I disagree with that. The embassy is Saudi sovereign property. They can clean up the evidence easily and thoroughly there.

Embassys are sacred ground. Politicians care about what goes on there more than they do anywhere else. They are suppose to be s safe place. Also doing it at the embassy removes almost all of their deniability.

Again it is Saudi sovereign ground. Saudi's get to say who gets in and when.

It's obviously worked out well for them. Good plan.

It cracks me up that Putin is pissed that the same guy who kissed his ass in Helsinki is now kissing the Saudi's ass. He's pretty much saying, that god damn Trump gave us a slap on the wrist for murdering Skirpal and now he's going to let the Saudi's off scott free for murdering Khashoggi. It's just not fair!

I think the quote from Samantha Power sums it all up nicely:

"Putin says a single approach to incidents like Skirpal & Khashoggi needed. How about the don’t-murder-your-critics approach?"

Didn't miss that part. If you let criminals or accused criminals investigated the crimes they are being accused I'm guessing 90% of them are going to say their innocent.

The Clintons were the ones in the Saudi's Pockets. Think she give back the 25 million? hell no.

I never have trusted the Saudi's and once we don't have to lean on them for oil we'll be a lot better off.
Every administration has cozied up to them to much because we sell them arms and want their support against other regime's.
Good God The Clinton were in bed with them more so than any administration.
There sure is a lot of hypocrisy going on.

That's peanuts compared to what Trump himself has bragged about getting from the Saudis:

    upload_2018-10-18_14-46-38.png

“Saudi Arabia — and I get along great with all of them. They buy apartments from me,” Trump said in 2015. “They spend $40 million, $50 million. Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much.”

A direct quote from him, but he will still call it #FakeNews:

“For the record, I have no financial interests in Saudi Arabia (or Russia, for that matter),” Trump said. “Any suggestion that I have is just more FAKE NEWS (of which there is plenty)!”

Their both crooks. And for either side to attack the other for political gain is nuts. Hypocrites.
If they can use against the other side, fire away! Its getting ugly, these Democrats and republican better find a way to get along and be fellow Americans or this country is done.

What great example for kids & grandkids to see this type of hate spewed form both sides and thats what it is.
