    Kidd + Boone + Sean Williams + Wright + 1st + 3 Mill rounder for Kobe + Bynum + Farmar

    PG: Farmar/Marcus
    SG: Kobe/VC
    SF: Vince/RJ
    PF: Boki/Krstic/Allen
    C: Bynum/Collins

The Nets would definitely like this trade.

Thats sound the best for us but the nets want young ppl and expring contracts, I would think they would offer Nene but hes got that big cancer problem I think. So then theres Camby, but hes old and it would mess up theres defense. But that would also make us a better defensive team.

The Lakers dont have enough to offer if there not gonna give up bynum or maybe we could get Bynum in the deal if we include Boone or Sean“
The only team that makes sense is Dallas, cant wait to see Devin Harris, Tarry, or Stackhouse soon......</div>

not a chance in hell, have you seen what Bynum's been doing this season ?, Harris is out 2 to 3 weeks who knows but they would have to add a draft pick to make it work for NJ.

this is the best type of deal imo Kidd proposed deal
    </div>
Good point, i could see the nets doing this trade, exactly what there asking for unless the nets want collins to go were ever Kidd goes or if the nets want draft picks.

That has been obvious for a long time to me, so it should come as no surprise to them.

Everyone (except Killa Kadafi, who had this right from the start) got really mad at me for saying all offseason that Kidd didn't give a shit about the Nets, but now everyone is super pissed at Kidd.

I am the same amount of disgusted with him today as I was yesterday as I was 8 months ago.

I personally like this idea for both sides:

    Lakers Get
    Jason Kidd
    Jason Collins

    Nets Get
    Lamar Odom
    Kwame Brown
    Javaris Crittenton

LA gets rid of Odom, brings back Kidd and a solid defensive big to replace Kwame in the rotation. New Jersey gets a good all-around talent they can stick at the 4, that also expires after next season - along with Kwame (expiring this season) and a nice prospect in Crittenton. I think it's very fair for both sides and it makes a lot of sense.

Everyone is overreacting. Just a day or two ago Kidd said he wants to be in New Jersey.

<span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">"Yeah, I want to be here," he [Kidd] added
    </span>
He said he and his agent haven't demanded any trades, too many rumours coming from unknown sources. This is straight from his mouth.

<span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">Jason Kidd said his agent had not asked the Nets for a trade to a contender.</span>
Yea, but he said he didn't want to be traded yesterday. He must have been misquoted.

This barely sounds like a "I want to be traded quote." It seems so vague, and hard to interpret what it actually means. If he said "It's time for me to move on, then I'd say "yep, Kidd wants to be traded."

    <span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">Kidd said "It's time for <u>us all </u>to move on."</span>

From the context did he mean "My TDs didn't do it this time, lets get over this loss, and focus on the next game?"

No way unless you start throwing in draft picks.

Thanks for remembering that. I feel you. It's time for life without kidd. The Nets were around before kidd and will be around after.

And if he somehow got hurt, that would ruin any chance at a deal. They should just sit him out. They're better off just losing games and improving their draft position anyway...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Thorn became aware of Kidd's remarks minutes after they hit the wires last night, and the fact that the future Hall of Famer made his feelings public did not surprise him.

That doesn't mean his franchise player is going to get what he wants, however.

"As you've heard me say ad nauseum, anything that comes by my desk that is something that could be beneficial to our team, I will look at," Thorn said. "And if it doesn't, I won't look at it. Until then, if a player is under contract to our team, then he's under contract."</div>

That would signal to the rest of the league that Rod is absolutely surrendering and is going to take whatever crap another team throws at him. Now that's a stupid strategy. Rod basically says... A lot of guys in this league wish they were somewhere else, but that's too bad and they have contracts to honor. Deal with it. He said that if he gave in to trade demands and gave players away, he would have guys in his office every single day asking for the same thing.

Childress, Shelden, Salim and a first would be amazing. Unfortunately that sounds too good for whatever deal we will probably get
